A Home Check-up is a structured, professional, non-invasive site assessment designed to identify signs of structural movement, subsidence or foundation issues. It is the first, and often most important, step in understanding what is going on beneath your home.
Our team will visit your property, assess visible signs such as cracks or movement, and gather relevant data to determine if your home may be affected by subsidence or foundation movement. Based on this, we will advise whether further investigation, engineering input or monitoring is appropriate. It is not a sales visit. It is your opportunity to get clear, expert insight.
Why book a Home Check-up?
Is your home built on a concrete slab?
We specialise in homes with concrete slab-on-ground construction. This is where the screw pile underpinning method we use is most effective. Our method is suited to buildings constructed onto a concrete slab, where the slab is cast onto and supported by the ground. This includes:
If you are unsure, we can usually confirm this based on a few details over the phone. If your home is built on stumps, bearers or a suspended floor system, we may not be the right fit, but we will let you know straight away.
What's outside our scope?
To ensure we deliver the right outcomes, we focus only on issues caused by structural foundation movement and the resulting damage to buildings. We don't offer services for:
- Cosmetic cracks unrelated to structural movement
- Concrete repairs, e.g. driveways, footpaths, stumps
- Waterproofing or dampness issues
- Homes built on stumps or piers (typically timber or steel)

We are predominantly active across South East QLD and Northern NSW. We do service beyond this region, encompassing all of QLD and NSW, however this is on a case-by-case basis, to ensure we can deliver on our promises of quality and timeliness.
